The VM528 combines a coated fabric soft dome with a lightweight Kapton former and single-layer copper voice coil to achieve pristine midrange clarity and rapid transient articulation. Its FEA-optimized magnet system ensures robust thermal stability and consistent power handling, while the precision front-mounting plate establishes an expansive, uniform radiation pattern that blends seamlessly with adjacent drivers. The modular diaphragm assembly enables effortless field service, and standard spade terminals accommodate both soldered and push-on connections for installation flexibility.
The VM528 uses a coated one-piece fabric 2" (52 mm) soft dome and surround. These are paired with a lightweight Kapton former and single-layer copper voice coil, delivering fast transient response with minimal coloration and exceptionally low distortion.
A precision FEA-designed magnet system provides high flux density and excellent thermal performance, helping the VM528 maintain power handling and efficiency under demanding conditions. The flat front-mounting plate is designed to control dispersion, giving the VM528 a wide, even radiation pattern that integrates naturally with surrounding drivers.
For ease of installation and service, the dome and coil are built onto a replaceable composite diaphragm ring that self-locates accurately, allowing straightforward field replacement. Standard 4.8 mm spade terminals accept either soldered connections or push-on receptacles.
Crafted for seamless front-panel integration, this midrange driver delivers refined tonal balance across the vocal and instrumental spectrum with its precision-engineered soft dome architecture.
