The Vincent High End Bi-Wire Speaker Cable is a factory terminated speaker cable for stereo use. As good-sounding as it is beautiful to look at in its Snake-skin design. The structure consists of coarse OFC copper conductors with different core dimensions, as well as a cotton cushioning between the conductors to counteract micro-phonics. It comes with both spade and banana plugs that can be replaced.
Different frequency ranges behave in different ways during a signal transmission, and this can be influenced by using different types of cord dimensions, as well as how the cable geometry is structured. In Vincent's High End Speaker Cable we find pure OFC copper conductors - built with a network of 6x40 0.1 mm cores and 6x0.19 mm with Litz cores. This, says Vincent, gives a good ratio between the capacitance and the mechanical properties.
By twisting the conductors, you can also have a positive effect on the inductance of the cable, and this is mainly the contributing factor to its fine transient reproduction and dynamics. The conductors are wrapped with cotton between them, which partly keeps the conductors at the right distance between each other for the best mechanical connection, and the cotton has good damping properties.
