TiGLON's MAGNESIA EX represents a decade of refinement in audio furniture design. Crafted from premium Russian birch plywood and reinforced with magnesium alloy struts, this hi-fi rack delivers exceptional vibration isolation without unnecessary bulk. The expanded platform—530mm wide by 430mm deep—accommodates larger turntables and amplifiers with ease. By optimizing material strength while reducing overall weight, TiGLON achieves an open, transparent soundstage that reveals the natural character of your music. A purposeful design that prioritizes acoustic performance over ornamentation.

The Magnesia EX audio rack series was developed to commemorate Tiglon's 10th anniversary, focusing on uncompromised sound quality through material science and vibration control.

The shelves are made from the same top-grade water-resistant Russian birch plywood used in the high-end MAGNESIA TMR series. The support posts are constructed from slender yet exceptionally vibration-damping magnesium alloy (φ20 mm).

The equipment platform has been expanded from the previous W500×D400 mm to W530×D430 mm, allowing ample space for analog players and large amplifiers.
While maintaining structural integrity, the overall weight has been reduced, delivering an unprecedented sense of openness and agility in the sound field.

Experience the natural sound that can only be achieved through this refined, minimalist design. The model name “EX” derives from “EXPANSION” – representing the expanded performance and possibilities.

Features
  • Construction: The shelves are made from high-quality Russian birch waterproof plywood, and the supporting pillars (struts) are made of a slender, yet strong, magnesium alloy.
  • Vibration Damping: The core technology is the patented use of magnesium shielding, which is chosen for its superior ability to absorb micro-vibrations and block electromagnetic interference (EMI) more effectively than common materials like aluminum or copper, without producing a metallic "ringing".
  • Sound Quality: The design aims to produce a natural, wide, and clear sound field with a low noise floor, allowing musical details to emerge naturally.
  • Dimensions: The installation area for equipment was expanded in this series to W530 x D430 mm to accommodate larger components like analog players and amplifiers.
  • Modularity: The racks are available in various configurations (e.g., M-EX1, M-EX2, etc., referring to the number of tiers) and can be customized with different height magnesium posts and optional casters or spikes
  • Maximum Load Capacity : 70 kg per tier
  • Standard post lengths can be customized from five options : 70, 150, 200, 280, or 330 mm
  • Due to the product’s structure, the usable internal height is 3 mm greater than the installed
  • Made in Japan

    About

Tiglon is a Japanese high-end audio manufacturer specializing in cables and accessories for the audiophile market. Founded by Kentaro Okino, the company's reputation is built on its innovative and patented use of magnesium, a material chosen for its superior ability to suppress vibrations and shield against electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Tiglon's philosophy is centered on the pursuit of "unknown sound" by creating accessories that reveal the natural texture and emotion of music. The company believes that by focusing on material science and vibration control, it can create products that bring "emotion and fun" to the audio experience. This is achieved by protecting the signal from external noise and interference, creating a quiet background that allows musical details to emerge naturally.

Key Innovations include: Magnesium shielding technology utilizes a patented magnesium foil to protect the cables. This material effectively absorbs vibrations and blocks EMI/RFI interference, without producing the metallic "ringing" found in copper or aluminum. The Hyper Saturated Energizer (HSE) treatment, developed in partnership with European and Asian engineers, applies programmed electrical currents to the conductor to enhance its crystal structure. This process shortens the break-in period and improves clarity, depth, and tonal balance. The D-REN sheath, initially designed for "D-REN Pro" tuning spacers, reduces micro-vibrations and static electricity, enhancing overall audio quality.
