This multifunctional analog stabilizer was developed in collaboration with Gerd Volker Kühn of Black Forest Audio, Germany. The structure, which minimizes the use of metal and securely clamps onto the center pin of the turntable, has been granted a utility model patent in Germany. There are two ways to use it: the first is similar to traditional stabilizers, where it is placed on the record to suppress minute vibrations on the surface and improve sound quality.
The second method is to clamp it onto the center pin (if the pin is long enough) and apply moderate pressure from the center, which helps reduce the warping of the record and significantly stabilizes the tracking. When using heavy materials, unnecessary mechanical energy can accumulate, interfering with the tracking process and making it difficult to transmit accurate sound quality.
To address this, the BFA-CLAMP MK-II is made from a carbon-infused special synthetic resin material, achieving high rigidity while reducing the weight of the unit to 100g. The BFA-CLAMP MK-II also incorporates TIGLON’s patented "D-REN Ring" technology, enhancing resolution and enabling the reproduction of a more natural soundstage, making it an even more advanced analog stabilizer than previous models.
