Synergistic Research Atmosphere Excite SX AC Power Cable

The Synergistic Research Atmosphere Excite SX AC Power Cable represents a major performance jump in the Atmosphere SX lineup. As a Level 2 cable in the series, it introduces actively biased shielding powered by an onboard Swiss-made DC power supply, which completely eliminates the need for cumbersome external "wall wart" power adapters. By pairing this active filtration with a sophisticated multi-geometry blend of pure silver, mono-crystal tungsten, and copper matrix conductors, the Excite SX drastically drops the system's noise floor to extract hidden micro-dynamics, three-dimensional soundstage depth, and holographic realism.

Excite SX has an actively biased shield powered by an inboard power supply with an internal UEF Ground plane for an ultra-low noise floor. Active Shielding means Excite SX has a lower noise floor than would be possible with passive Shielding of this complex multi-geometry power cord. Excite SX expands on Alive SX’s use of pure 6-9 Silver, Tungsten, and Silver Matrix conductors with additional geometries for improved dynamics and resolution. And to raise the bar further, we applied our new High-Frequency High Voltage Long Duration conditioning process first developed for our SRX cable loom and used to make our new Purple Fuses possible. We then internally voiced Excite SX with new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs engineered to voice the Atmosphere SX loom with increased resolution and musicality without high-frequency fatigue.

The previous Atmosphere X Series Cables started as an experiment to explore ways of improving UEF Shielding by placing UEF Tech at strategic grid points on the shields of Atmosphere cables, now called Matrix Shielding. Matrix Shielding arranges UEF elements on a grid pattern of the cable shield to lower its noise floor. Atmosphere SX refines Matrix Shielding further by using new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs developed expressly for Atmosphere SX to enhance the loom's ability to cancel noise that would otherwise cause high frequencies to sound harsh or fatiguing. As a result of our ongoing research into UEF Shielding, we have pushed the resolution envelope when voicing Atmosphere SX by developing new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs for a more holographic sound with enhanced resolution and musicality.

After perfecting the most natural-sounding and holographic cables in our history, we set out to take them further with a new high voltage conditioning process that applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. We experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. We even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol. 

Atmosphere Level 2 Power Cables contains a power supply that generates the 30 Volt DC bias necessary for Active Shielding, eliminating the need for messy external wiring and cumbersome wall warts. Performance is further enhanced by the introduction of UEF technology built into the power supply and cable shielding for an incredibly low noise floor.
