Celebrating the 30th Anniversary from the first Concertino introduction, with a limited run of 300 pairs of Concertino ‘Maestro’ special editions, featuring a brass plaque with progressive numbering applied on the walnut side panel of the speaker.

This special edition embodies the rich artisanal and acoustic tradition of the renowned Italian brand. Just like in the Italian artisan workshops of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, where an apprentice worked under the guidance of a master for years before becoming a journeyman and eventually aspiring to the title of master through the creation of a 'masterpiece', the Maestro Edition represents the culmination of decades of experience, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Concertino embodies the essence of Sonus faber: It is a project at the intersection of tradition and experimentation.

Through experimentation with new, natural materials, Concertino embraces the Natural Sound philosophy of Sonus faber. While it retains a historic trapezoidal shape emblematic of Sonus faber’s striking visual designs, it incorporates materials such as cork and plant-based leather alternatives for a modern acoustical soundstage.

Concertino is a love song for our past played on a musical instrument of the future. It is a combination of a classic design with cutting-edge advancements in technology.

Concertino marks the first introduction of a new eco-friendly leather, produced by the Italian start-up Ohoskin, used to cover the front baffle and cork structure. Its sustainably sourced from the derivatives of Sicilian oranges and prickly pears. This plant-based alternative to leather is one of the first non-fossil variations, ensuring that audiophiles who purchase Concertino receive materials of the highest quality in luxury audio sound reproduction while making a positive environmental impact.

The unique innovation of Concertino lies in the structure of its central chassis — crafted out of cork. The structure of cork allows it to cleanly mold into each design, limiting internal resonances and reducing damping material inside the cabinet. This natural material adapts to the different needs of each speaker, making it ideal for Concertino but also a valuable asset to a growing number of other collections, such as Suprema and Sonetto. Concertino marks the first time cork has been used while paired with a midwoofer.

The Iron Stand, featuring iron and walnut veneer wood, is designed for Concertino and Minima Amator II bookshelf speakers from the Heritage collection. This stand is crafted from an IPE 120x64 beam, giving it a structural stability with an industrial flair.

Stands and speakers are sold separately.
