Opal Sub is an active subwoofer designed to expand home cinema systems or small stereo setups. Its design and characteristics perfectly harmonize with the other speakers in the Opal line.
The subwoofer utilizes a completely new transducer with a special GFRP composite membrane and an additional coating that ensures high rigidity and piston-like operation in the low-frequency range. The speaker's carefully selected parameters guarantee exceptional reproduction capabilities while allowing for implementation in a relatively compact enclosure.
The driving force behind the subwoofer is a modern and efficient Class D amplifier with high energy efficiency. Smooth adjustment of the low-pass filter, amplification level, and phase control ensures seamless integration with the other speakers in the system.
The entire unit is enclosed in a reinforced, solid MDF housing that guarantees resonance-free operation.
