Taxes & Shipping Included
"Figure-8" power cables are a staple in the world of audio and visual equipment. Oyaide Electric has long been a pioneer in this field, releasing the L/i15 DPC in 2001 and its successor, the L/i15 EMX, in 2010. Its incredible performance and ease of use have earned the support of countless audio and visual enthusiasts, solidifying its place as the leading C7/C8 power cable. Highly Recommended for your Apple TV, Streamers and Amplifiers.
Spectacle-shaped power cables are widely used in audio and visual equipment today. Oyaide Electric was one of the first companies to pay attention to these spectacle-shaped power cables, and released the L/i15 DPC in 2001 and its successor, the L/i15 EMX, in 2010.
In 2013, with the end of supply of PCOCC-A conductors, the first generation "L/i15 EMX" was unintentionally discontinued.
However, in 2014, "L/i15 EMX V2" inherited the life of the original "L/i15 " with the Oyaide's own precision conductor "102 SSC".
Its overwhelming performance and superior ease of handling have won the support of many Audio and Visual fans, and as a pioneer of spectacle-type power cables, it has established a major genre.
Features
"102 SSC" - Oyaide Electric Precision Conductor
- To avoid impurities as much as possible, only virgin copper that does not contain any recycled copper is used in accordance with JIS C1011.
- Peeling process is applied to remove 100% of impurities attached to the surface.
- In order to facilitate the flow of electrical signals through the surface layer of the conductor, the strand is made finer using a natural diamond die to improve the surface smoothness of the strand.
- The stranded wire is processed with a processing accuracy of ±1μm, far exceeding the standard error tolerance of ±8μm.
- Two annealing processes are used to eliminate mechanical stress distortions in the strands.
- Thorough product control of manufacturing control values, maintenance, shipping days, etc. Achieved the highest conductivity of 102.3% IACS.
- Made in Japan
Star-Quad Structure Cable
The four 0.75sq. (≈AWG18) wires are twisted together to achieve low inductance, and the magnetic fields generated by the cables cancel each other out, resulting in significant noise attenuation within the cord compared to ordinary cables.
Each of the four internal wires is covered with a Tetoron reinforced fiber sleeve, which suppresses resonance between the cables and provides excellent vibration control. In addition, the sleeves contain carbon to form a semiconducting layer that prevents static electricity from being generated.
In addition, the conductors are grouped into seven units to minimize interline distortion.
Flexible Cable Insulator
The vibration control also reflects the Oyaide style. The internal insulator is made of silicon compound, which has excellent vibration damping characteristics and maintains stable hardness and flexible usability.
Cable Exterior
The outer sheath is made of soft Tetron fiber, and high performance filament is added to the exterior. This ensures flexibility and low dielectric constant.
Power plug / Connector
The plug terminals, which are the key to transmission, are made of phosphor bronze (female) and brass (male). The plating process is exactly the same: 2μ silver plating + 0.3μ rhodium plating.
Double feather contact is used for the insertion pin. The connector part of the mold is sized to be easy to fit and use in compact Audio-visual equipment.
