Oyaide DC-2.5GL DC Power Connector

The Oyaide DC-2.5GL is a high-quality, 24K gold-plated male DC power connector designed for audiophile applications. It is intended for DIY projects to build custom DC power cables or replace the stock connectors on external power supplies and wall warts to improve sound quality.

Robust construction using the same brass material as OYAIDE/NEO's various plugs "P series". The caulking at the base of the cable is also the same as the "P series", and it is perfect to prevent it from slipping out when making your own using thick cables.

The integrated DC-2.1GL/DC-2.5GL has a great advantage in terms of sound quality and robustness, but most compact effectors for musical instruments have a "center minus" polarity. Since the outer and metal hoods of this DC plug are connected, insulation measures for the outer and hood are required when connecting with center negative specifications.

With this in mind, we have included a "VCP cap" for insulation so that you can safely make and use it yourself. During production, it has a simple structure in which the plug hood is passed through this cap before being passed through the cable, and when completed, the cap is passed through first.

*Due to the structure of the cap, there are some aspects that cannot be covered by the cap. Please be careful about short circuits on this side.
