At no point do I say ‘…amazing… for a small speaker… but’. The Immanence 2 displays all the best qualities of a small speaker, such as impressive low-volume performance, intimate, realistic vocals, and imaging better than any other ‘small’ speaker I’ve heard. Yet when it comes to turning up the volume and rocking out, I did not feel it was lacking in any way in my regular UK-sized living room. Listen to Björk’s ‘Hunter’ from the album Homogenic [Elektra] with the volume up. Those low synth bass lines did not leave me craving a subwoofer! And the Immanence 2 did all of that without sounding compressed...
