The Classic Range draws its spirit from the original Neat Petite — the compact loudspeaker that changed expectations.  When it arrived in 1991, it proved that true musical scale and depth could come from a modest enclosure.  Small, but never slight, it revealed the full rhythm and emotion of music with effortless flow.  That same belief in compact form and honest musicality continues across today’s Classic models — the Petite, the Elite and the Mystique. Each carries the same musical DNA, but with its own character and scale.  The Petite is intimate and revealing, ideal for smaller spaces where every detail matters. The Elite builds on that foundation, offering greater openness and presence in a slender floorstanding form. The Mystique extends the experience further, adding depth and composure for those who want a broader soundstage and a deeper sense of space.  Together they form the Classic Range — three expressions of the same idea: pure, timeless and deeply musical.

Every Neat loudspeaker is built by hand in our North East England workshop, a place where craftsmanship and musical understanding meet.

  • Staggered Dual-Port Tuning: The enclosure features an innovative porting setup with one rear-firing port and one bottom-firing port. This broadband reinforcement layout delivers tight, rhythmic low frequencies.
  • Elevated Plinth: The main cabinet sits on machined metal spacers above a rigid acrylic base to give the downward-firing bass port optimal breathing room.
  • Unobtrusive Geometry: Uniquely, the cabinet profile is wider than it is deep (900mm x 200mm x 180mm), allowing it to sit gracefully against walls without dominating room acoustics.
