The Mobridge MOSTLOOP is a MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) loop cable used to maintain the integrity of the MOST 25 fiber optic ring when a device is disconnected or bypassed during installation. The MOST bus in vehicles like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Porsche operates as a closed optical ring — if any device in the ring is removed without bridging the gap, the entire network fails.
During the installation of a Mobridge interface or any other device into the MOST ring, the MOSTLOOP allows you to temporarily or permanently bridge the fiber connection, keeping the rest of the vehicle's MOST network operational.
