Research indicators that low frequencies propagate faster within the conductor, whereas signals with higher frequencies propagate on the surface of the conductor. Thanks to BassCore technology (The cable's BassCore technology, a special 0.85mm bass wire for low frequencies and a 110 x 0.15mm bundle responsible for mid and high frequencies, results in a more balanced, dynamic and deep sound with better controlled and more precise bass. In addition, twisting conductors results in the elimination of the cable's own interference, making the sound more detailed and clearer. The twisting of the cables also presents sound quality degradation caused by the close proximity of the power cables.

When connecting loudspeakers and audio amplifier with a bare wire causes the exposed copper to oxidize quickly which increases the cable resistance and has a critical effect on the sound fidelity. The SBSC25xx Sky Blue uses a new, special technology for tightly connecting the plugs to the speaker cable without the use of solder - Solid Grip Technology. Unlike standard connection using screw terminals, Solid Grip Technology involves crimping a properly prepared plug onto the speaker cable using a press. This allows all the wires to be tightly pressed together with the plug in a way that eliminates free spaces between them and maximizes the contact area. The resulting monolith creates a smooth, uninterrupted signal path through which the resistance of the connection is noticeably reduced.

The cable and plug which are pressed together with Solid Grip Technology offer a much higher conductivity than a terminal made with screws or soldered joints. The solution employed in Melodika SBSC25xx Sky Blue provides a reliable, durable connection that is resistant to oxidation and offers excellent electrical conductivity with reduced resistance. Moreover, plugs are 24k gold plated, which also does not oxidize in air. In this way, the low resistance can be maintained for the life of the cable.
