Melodika Purple MDUCB is a digital cable terminated with USB C and USB B plugs, intended for data transmission. By replacing the cable factory included with your device with a Melodika MDUCB cable, you will easily and quickly ensure that the quality of the transmitted signal is not disturbed.

Using this cable, you can connect devices equipped with a USB C connector, e.g. computer/tablet/smartphone, with peripheral devices equipped with a USB B connector, such as C/A DAC converters, medical devices, audio interfaces, sound cards, plotters, etc. 

When designing the Melodika Purple MDUCB cable with USB BC plugs, care was taken to maintain the best possible quality of digital transmission. The Melodika Purple MDUBC cable is made of two pairs of wires (4 x 0.2 mm2), one of these pairs is used for data transmission and the other for power supply. The design, in which the data transmission line is separated and has its own shielding, allows for minimizing external interference. By isolating the power from the signal conductors, we are able to obtain low jitter and cause interference from one beam to be unable to switch to another.

Two layers of Mylar foil and a galvanized copper braid create triple shielding that reduces electrical noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI). 24-carat gold-plated plugs reduce losses on the plug-socket connection. They were precisely connected to the cable using the highest quality tin-silver solder.

Durable purple PVC external insulation, which is resistant to UV rays and alcohol and has excellent impact strength also in a wide temperature range from -30 to +70 degrees Celsius, which means that the Melodika MDUCB cable can also be used in installations. The Melodika MDUCB cable is made with the utmost care, ensuring durability and safety of use. Therefore, like all Melodika cables, Melodika MDUCB is covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

It is worth remembering that the functionality of the USB CB cable also depends on the possibilities offered by the socket used in the connected device. Devices equipped with a USB-C socket, which is used both to transfer data and charge the device, are marked with a characteristic trident-like symbol, sometimes with the letters SS (Super Speed) added at the beginning.

If there is a lightning symbol next to the socket you intend to use with the USB C cable, and not a „trident, it is a clear message that it is only used to charge the device and is not a transmission connector. Such a USB C socket does not enable data transfer, regardless of what cable is used for this purpose. Before purchasing, it is always worth checking the specifications of the devices and cable to make sure it meets the intended purpose.

The Melodika Purple MDUCB cable will be available in lengths from 0.3 to 7 m. In the MDUCB symbol, "U" stands for USB and CB stands for the type of connectors used (USB-C/USB-B). The numbers following this symbol indicate the length of the cable, so a 2.5 m long cable will have the symbol: MDUCB25 and a 7 m long cable - MDUCB70
