BassCore Technology

Since a thicker conductor improves low-frequency reproduction, we employed a solid conductor (the so-called 'BassCore') for low frequencies, and surrounded it with flexible strands for mid and high frequencies. This allows us to take advantage of the best sound characteristics of both gauges. This solution delivers perfect sound quality across the entire frequency range, with a slightly warmed and extended bass response.

• Construction: 110x0.15 mm and 1x0.85 mm

• Dielectric: double insulation made of PVC - The cable is ideal for flush-mounted installation in walls, e.g. for a home theater or multiroom system (The top layer of Melodika cables is made of specially modified PVC with increased resistance, so the cable can be easily placed under plaster or concrete without fear of damaging the cable)
