Brown Sugar is Melodika's flagship series of 6N copper-based cables, designed for message consistency and stable, repeatable electrical performance over a long period of use. BSSC45 uses a Multi-Gauge design based on three groups of veins with different cross-sections, while maintaining solutions common to the entire line.

Litz Construction - Spiral Litz Technology: (each conductor insulated separately and twisted). The Brown Sugar design uses Spiral Litz conductors, in which each of the many individual veins has its own, independent insulation. This solution limits the interaction of conductors and promotes a more even distribution of current throughout the cable cross-section. As a result, the cable maintains stable electrical parameters throughout the audio band. An additional advantage of individual vein insulation is effective protection of copper against oxidation, which translates into durability and repeatability of parameters over a long period of use.

Multi-Gauge Core Technology: In conductors through which current flows, as the frequency of the signal increases, its concentration closer to the surface of the vein increases. This phenomenon, known as the epidermal effect, leads to a reduction in the effective cross-section of the conductor and an increase in its resistance and impedance at higher frequencies. The epidermal effect is well described in the classical theory of electromagnetism and confirmed by measurement. The use of wires with various cross-sections, as in the Multi-Gauge Core design, allows you to reduce the unevenness of current flow with variable audio signals and column loads. In practice, this favors more stable wire parameters across the audio band, better control of low frequencies, and maintaining readability of mid and high tones.

Twisting of cable wires: The conductors have been twisted as a spiral braid, which limits the loop surface of the wire and reduces its susceptibility to electromagnetic interference. Disturbances induced in adjacent veins are of the opposite nature, so they are partially abolished. This geometry promotes stable signal transmission and pure sound.
