Matrix Audio SU-1 is a multi source USB interface manager built for Hi-Fi and professional audio systems. It combines three core functions, multi source switching, electrical isolation, and linear regulated power at the output stage. With one-touch source switching, SU-1 cuts noise paths through independent isolation circuitry, delivering a quieter listening background while balancing everyday convenience with USB signal quality.
Multi Source, Seamless Switching
Two USB Type-B inputs and one USB Type-C input let you connect multiple USB sources at once. Two USB Type-A outputs can feed two DACs or digital audio interfaces. Keep everything connected, no more plugging and unplugging when you switch devices.
A dedicated professional grade digital isolation chip electrically separates each signal path and isolates grounds. It physically breaks the electrical connection between data, power, and ground lines at both ends. While preserving signal integrity, it provides full interface electrical isolation between sending and receiving ends. This removes ground loop noise and high frequency interference, and guards against surges and lightning damage, protecting valuable audio gear. Provide lower system noise, quieter and more open sound, and the full potential of your audio system.
A fully encapsulated toroidal transformer linear power supply, paired with multiple ultra low noise regulators, gives USB devices a stable, clean power foundation and reduces power noise during playback. It also provides a 5V/1000mA ultra low noise output with built in real time load detection that automatically detects overcurrent and short circuit faults and cuts output fast reliable protection for downstream audio gear.
The front panel uses simple single button control with input and output status LEDs for intuitive operation. Short press to cycle through USB Type-C1, Type-B1 and Type-B2 inputs. Long press to switch between USB Type-A1 and Type-A2 outputs. The status LED lights up, showing the current input and output chain clear at a glance.
USB transmission impedance is deeply optimized to reduce signal loss and support long distance USB runs. A single side cable can reach to 4 meters, with both input and output cable length up to 8 meters. Signals stay stable over long runs without data attenuation and packet loss. Sources and DACs don't need to sit next to each other, leaving more room for desktop or living room layouts and more flexible cable planning.
As a signal hub for switching multiple USB audio devices, it connects directly to USB equipped digital audio transports, computers, mobile devices and DACs. Flexible device pairings open up more ways to listen, giving multi device Hi-Fi systems practical connectivity and pure sound.

- Galvanic Isolation The input and output ports are fully galvanically isolated, effectively blocking noise interference from front-end devices, cutting off ground loops, eliminating ground-loop noise and stray interference, and ensuring pure signal transmission.
- USB Port Routing Supports switching any one of the 3 USB inputs to any one of the 2 USB outputs. Allows simultaneous connection of 3 front-end devices and 2 back-end devices, avoiding frequent plugging and unplugging of cables.
- USB Signal Repeater The USB output ports feature optimized transmission impedance, effectively reducing signal loss and improving anti-interference capability. Supports longer USB cable runs, providing a stable and reliable data transmission link for connected devices.
- USB Power Linkage The input and output USB power supplies are synchronized. When the input port detects power from a front-end device, the output port automatically turns on; when the input port loses power, the output port turns off simultaneously without affecting the sleep function of the front-end USB ports.
- Output Overcurrent Protection Each USB output port provides 5V/1000mA ultra-low-noise power output. When the output current exceeds the 1000mA threshold, the overcurrent protection mechanism is triggered automatically: the output port shuts down immediately and the corresponding LED indicator flashes red. Normal operation can be restored by reconnecting the power to this unit after the external device fault has been resolved.
