Studio-Quality Streaming: The SOLO features an unrivaled D/A converter concept with DSD Re-Sampling, a user-friendly and stable app, and an ultra-linear power supply for all analog circuit components powered by an R-core transformer. This enables a playback quality unmatched in its class.
Thoughtful Design: The meticulous layout and strict separation of digital and analog technology are a hallmark of Lindemann. Count on pure, unadulterated listening pleasure!
Less is more! The SOLO is a milestone for lovers of high-quality music playback. Consistently short signal paths and exceptional circuit details "Made by LINDEMANN" open up a new world of sound: incredibly relaxing, detailed, colorful, and completely free of digital artifacts.
Features
- Proven, highly stable streaming platform with high-resolution playback up to 384 kHz / 24-bit and native DSD up to 256.
- Wide range of streaming services with studio master resolution.
- Clear, easy-to-use app with a variety of features.
- Premium aluminum housing in a retro-future design.
- Two-stage D/A converter design: Femto-clock-based FIFO re-sampling followed by Delta-Sigma conversion into a 1-bit signal. Potential sound distortions caused by "clock jitter" are eliminated at this stage. The 1-bit signal is then converted in the actual converter module, where the analog signal is output. The result is significantly reduced high-frequency noise and greatly improved high-frequency reproduction.
- Consistent avoidance of sound-distorting DSPs and digital filtering (IIR and FIR filters). Purely analog signal filtering at 100 kHz.
- Extremely low-noise, linear power supply (LPS) with a R-core transformer that effectively suppresses interference from the power grid. Exclusively ultra-low-noise linear voltage regulators. Complete avoidance of switching regulators (DC/DC converters) – no high-frequency disturbances.
- Audiophile-grade components and circuit design: Four-layer PCB with strict separation of digital and analog sections, fully balanced signal paths with the outstanding AK4493S DAC chip, and fully balanced filter output stages featuring the OPA1637.
- A truly excellent-sounding headphone output!
