The RPI is a high-performance lossless digital music streaming bridge specially developed for Roon enthusiasts. It uses the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4G motherboard and features a built-in high-precision OCXO oven-controlled crystal oscillator plus PLL clock system, upgrading the three crystal oscillators of the Raspberry Pi 3.
It employs a UK Talema transformer, EMI AC filtering, high-speed DC filtering, and two LT3042 + PNP circuits providing independent ultra-low noise power supplies for the clock system and the Raspberry Pi. It also provides an external clock input interface. If you have a higher-level external clock, it can further improve your audio quality.
The RPI can seamlessly integrate with Roon, offering strong compatibility and stability. It can accurately read and parse commands and data sent by Roon, achieving stable audio transmission, supporting high-quality audio output, and playing high-resolution PCM and DSD audio. It is a very mature and reliable streaming bridge solution.
