LHY Audio's FMC (Fiber Media Converter) was designed to improve the sound quality in digital audio systems. Its main job is to convert a RJ-45 lan signal (from a router or streamer) into a fiber optics signal sent over an optical fiber cable, or convert it back to an electrical signal at the other end.
