The Jean Maurer JM 320E bookshelf speakers deliver clear, rich sound whether paired with a tube or solid-state amplifier. Built in Switzerland with high-quality components, they offer reliable performance and long-lasting durability. Enjoy precise audio with smooth tones and excellent detail in a compact design.
The JM 320E loudspeaker performs in the big leagues when powered by a good tube amplifier. However, it also performs wonderfully with a solid-state amp capable of delivering sufficient current. It is at the forefront of current performance both in its definition combined with its softness and in its respect for timbres and sound planes.
The Jean Maurer JM 320E, derived from the legendary JM 320D, is a highly accomplished loudspeaker, offering unique advantages of reliability and longevity. The enclosures, bass and midrange speakers, as well as the filters are entirely developed and manufactured in Switzerland, in the Jean Maurer workshops in Aubonne.
The JM 320E loudspeaker is versatile in every way. Whether playing classical, jazz, or pop music, it's always at home thanks to its fine detail reproduction, excellent dynamics, and spaciousness. Its exceptional depth at low volume levels and its power handling at high listening levels give it a rare versatility.
Its high efficiency allows it to work with the vast majority of good quality amplifiers (the only condition being that they must imperatively accept an impedance of 4 Ohms).
Its integration into the listening room is particularly easy. Provided a distance of 25 to 70 cm from the floor is maintained (by placing it on the intended base, on a piece of furniture, in a bookcase or in a niche), this speaker adapts perfectly to the surrounding acoustics since its housing does not vibrate. Resonance at the back of a niche or shelf is avoided thanks to the sandblasted back.
Aesthetically, its reasonable size, high level of finish, and the possibility of matching the wood type and fabric color to existing furniture make it a harmonious interior object. Since the case does not vibrate, it is even possible to place a flower vase on the upper glass.
Far from ephemeral, the Jean Maurer JM 320E loudspeakers are designed to accompany their owners for over half a century. Their transparency and neutrality guarantee a constantly renewed listening pleasure.
Jean Maurer loudspeakers are available in a wide range of finishes. The enclosures can be made of varnished wood veneers (any type) or with a piano lacquer or high-gloss finish. The acoustic fabrics are available in five understated shades: white, gray, beige, rust, dark brown, and black. The upper glass can be selected in most RAL or NCS colors.
These finishes guarantee harmonious integration into the majority of interiors, while preserving acoustic integrity: the geometry of the cabinet remains strictly unchanged.
Upon special request, and after in-depth discussion, we can also consider exceptional creations: marquetry, oiled wood, rust varnish, or material effects. These options are studied on a case-by-case basis, in compliance with the brand's technical requirements.
This means that each speaker can be personalized to become a unique piece, reflecting its owner.
