The GigaWatt IEC320-C7 is a high quality adapter, made to convert power cables with C13 (IEC320) plug to C7 (“figure eight”) connector.

Most popular audio-video gear uses low quality power cables with a C7 plug. Such cables are often found on Apple TV, DVD or Blu-ray players, LCD and plasma TV sets or other devices like video projectors or notebook power supplies.

Such cables cause significant power loss and throttle the current flow to the connected device. The IEC320-C7 adapter allows connecting any cable with a C13 (IEC 320) plug to a device accepting C7 plugs.

Using this adapter allows the connected audio-video device to perform optimally, improving its sound and picture quality. The enclosure of the adapter is made from PVC and nylon. Its brass connectors were cryogenically treated and de-magnetized.
