Developed by Focal’s acoustic engineers, Sphere Modes harness the natural reflections of sound waves from your walls and ceiling to create a truly room-filling, immersive experience. Using advanced Beamforming and Crosstalk Cancellation technologies, they precisely direct and balance audio streams for exceptional clarity and spatial accuracy, enveloping up to five listeners within a 120 cm listening zone. These modes are ideal for enclosed, acoustically treated rooms up to 40 m². Refer to the Quick Start Guide for optimal placement recommendations.
For larger or less soundproofed spaces, Dolby modes offer a powerful alternative. They use Binaural virtual spatialization technology to create a realistic, enveloping listening zone. Designed for a focused listening zone of up to two people (70 cm diameter), Dolby modes deliver an immersive experience that transcends the physical boundaries of your environment.

- Sphere modes also include Night mode (audio dynamic reduction).
- For stereo content, you can "upmix" the source (spatialization of stereo content for immersive listening).
- For immersive listening, you can adjust scene width and height, as well as the intensity of side/rear channels.
