It uses an IGL conductor, which protects the useful signal from interference and artefacts. Melody is slightly stiffer and denser than most standard instrument cables, so it is well suited for studio work and perfectly copes with the task of correctly transporting an analog signal from point A to point B with the least possible number of changes. Frequencies and timbre are transmitted as cleanly as possible and without any distortion.
