The Emphaser Monolith ECP-M6X Component Speaker Set - for music lovers. This speaker set is the new flagship model of the Monolith series, featuring cutting-edge technology. The newly designed M25TX tweeter has a 25 mm aluminum cone, delivering precise and detailed sound up to an impressive frequency range of 40 kHz. The woofer boasts the all-new Empahser FlowMax basket design, with an incredibly powerful BL (power factor) of 6.2 N/A and a perfectly symmetrical progressive centering, allowing for a maximum cone excursion of +/- 8 mm. Combined with the precise aluminum cone, the ECP-M6X allows for a dynamic range of music details, from soft sounds at low volumes to powerful attacks that will make you grin from ear to ear.

The ECP-M6X is offered as an active 2-way compo system without crossovers.

The woofer

The new aluminum cone is responsible for the high precision of the ECP-M6X. It combines high rigidity and a direct step response for extremely detailed music reproduction. The cone thickness is selected to provide the stability for heavy bass attacks and the necessary lightness for precise mid-range. The durable butyl surround ensures that the ECP-M6X loses none of its precise reproduction even at high levels and therefore high cone excursions.

The active compo owes its clean, crisp bass foundation and level capabilities to the powerful 100 x 20 mm strontium ferrite magnet, the heavy-duty 38 mm voice coil and the 6 mm thick, face-milled pole plate of the woofer. The phase plug ensures optimum sound dispersion at an angle - ideal for the intended installation in the footwell of the vehicle door.

The carefully selected components are supported by the minimalistically designed EMPHASER FlowMax die-cast aluminum basket. The very open construction with its filigree struts gives the sound emitted from the rear maximum freedom and a minimum of unwanted reflective surfaces that could influence the sound. Despite its filigree design, the sophisticated basket construction offers enormous stability.

Another innovation is the new EMPHASER screw terminal: although it has a very solid design, it takes up very little space and ensures reliable signal transmission thanks to the force-fit connection with solid hexagon screws and gold-plated contact surfaces.

The tweeter

The new ECP-M25TX tweeter with 25 mm aluminum cone plays precisely and with great attention to detail up to 40 kHz. The cone geometry offers a uniform directional characteristic for outstanding sound in a wide variety of installation situations. In addition to the low weight of the cone, surround and voice coil, the deliberate decision not to use ferrofluid is responsible for the tweeter's lively, spacious and coloration-free performance.

With its very large opening area, the protective grille offers high sound permeability and low reflective surfaces. The supplied surface-mounted housing enables installation at two different dispersion angles for perfect adaptation to the vehicle acoustics.
