Emphaser ECP-M3 3inch Midrange / Fullrange Set

The ECP-M3 set, two 9 cm full-range car speakers from EMPHASER, is ideal for expanding 2-way systems to 3-way systems - for example, the EMPHASER component systems ECP-M5 and ECP-M6. The compact design allows the installation of the ECP-M3 in various mounting positions such as dashboard or even A-pillar trim.

Due to its hardness and very high natural resonant frequency, the aluminum cone of the full-range speaker is ideally suited for detailed and extremely low-distortion reproduction. The thickness of the cone is chosen to provide the necessary stability and lightness for precise mids and highs. The durable surround ensures that the ECP-M3 loses none of its precise reproduction, even at high levels.

The ECP-M3 full-range driver owes its clean, crisp reproduction and level capabilities to powerful neodymium magnets. Details such as the aluminum die-cast basket with optimized temperature management, the butyl rubber surround, a copper cap on the pole core, the 2-layer copper wire voice coil on temperature-resistant aluminum voice coil carrier or the durable Connex center spider with woven voice coil lead underline the value of these speakers. Despite its small diameter, this full-range loudspeaker plays almost linearly from about 300 Hz and, if required, up to 22 kHz.
