For music and film enjoyment The speakers in the GLE series are technically convincing and visually appealing: Thanks to these properties, the attractive and versatile GLE models have been among the most popular speakers in Europe for many years. We have now completely revised the successful GLE model range - both visually and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the impressively good Canton sound. A logical extension of the GLE series is the newly introduced GLE 80, with only slightly smaller dimensions than our flagship GLE 90. It offers almost identical performance with outstanding sound properties, excellent dynamics and an attractive appearance. The finest technology is housed on the baffle, which is only 19 centimeters slim, and creates the unique Canton sound - now exclusively with our excellent titanium drivers, which can be found in the current GLE series.

The pursuit of the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technology. Our visually and technically revised GLE speakers benefit from the progress we are constantly making in speaker development. Precise and powerful bass is child's play for the two 174 mm woofers, which reproduce enormous depth in the optimally tuned bass reflex housing. Instead of the previous drivers with aluminum membranes, bass specialists with highly stable membranes made of titanium are now used: these can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. We also use titanium chassis in the acoustically immensely important midrange range in the current GLE series.

Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 80 sounds incredibly agile and shines with the best dynamics, excellent resolution and unrivaled balance. As ideal partners, we use our sophisticated and proven aluminum-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with complex waveguides for ideal sound radiation and coupling and enable playback up to 40,000 Hertz thanks to optimized crossovers. The outstanding technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further underlined by the loudspeaker chassis with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and triple-folded wave surrounds. 

The slim 3-way GLE 80 loudspeakers are both modern and neutral in design and can be integrated into any living environment thanks to their harmonious proportions. They are available in the attractive "Black Decor" and "White Decor" versions - the matt black or satin white painted baffles of the powerful bass reflex floor-standing loudspeakers harmonize perfectly with them. The black fabric covers, which are magnetically attached to the baffles, are an ornament for the current GLE series. Generously rounded at the corners, they give the floor-standing loudspeakers a friendly, attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 80 floor-standing loudspeakers are 100 centimeters high, just 19 centimeters wide and 30 centimeters deep. Four device feet integrated into the housing base ensure that the device stands firmly on the floor.

You can expand the powerful 3-way GLE 80 floorstanding speakers with other models from the GLE series to create a powerful, high-performance multi-channel home cinema system. For example, you can use our GLE 80 as the main speaker, combine the matching GLE 50 Center and the GLE 30 as surround speakers.
