OPUS 1 is the first Avantgarde system built around a single wide-band horn: a 13.8-inch spherical wave geometry capable of reproducing the entire critical midrange and high-frequency spectrum from 700 to 20,000 Hz, accompanied by a 10" bass driver. By concentrating the musical core into one horn, we eliminate crossover transitions in the most sensitive bandwidth, resulting in seamless coherence, sharp transient response, and a presentation that feels alive, direct, effortless.

The spherical wave horn, measuring 350 mm in diameter and 150 mm in depth, covers a frequency range from 700 Hz to 20 kHz. The OH1 1-inch driver with its lightweight ring diaphragm ensures high resolution, fast response, and precise dynamics without tonal beaming.

You want bass that’s clean, deep, and physical – the kind that turns sound into presence. That’s exactly what the OBM10 driver was created for. Its 10-inch inverted paper cone delivers speed and impact, the dedicated 250-watt amplifier provides authority, and the optimized port design keeps everything tight, tuneful, and room-friendly. This is low end – the Avantgarde way.

The OBM10 10-inch low-midrange driver delivers powerful, linear bass with excellent damping and minimal distortion. A large bass reflex port enhances low-frequency reproduction and control.

Amplification is provided by the integrated OAmp1-250 module: 10 W Class A/B for mid/high frequencies (first watt in Class A) and 250 W Class D for the bass. A DSP enables precise crossover management and flexible bass tuning. Firmware updates and future control functions are available via over-the-air (OTA) access.

The MDF and aluminum housing combines stability and acoustic damping. The matte black or white finish with a brushed metal front panel underscores the minimalist design. All connections are neatly integrated on the rear panel, and the solid aluminum base is equipped with glides and optional spikes.
