Variant: A20 + 48V 5A PSU

Engineered for pure transparency and uncompromising signal integrity, the AIYIMA A20 is a high-performance, Class D stereo power amplifier built for hardcore audio enthusiasts. At its core is the renowned Texas Instruments TPA3255 amplifier IC, paired with a sophisticated Post-Filter Feedback (PFFB) architecture. By wrapping the feedback loop around the output filter, the A20 eliminates traditional Class D load dependency, flattening frequency response across varying speaker impedances and driving THD+N down to an ultra-low 0.002%. The true fully balanced XLR input path ensures maximum common-mode noise rejection, keeping the 116dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) completely black and interference-free. Capable of delivering 300W per channel into 4Ω, it features a dedicated Pure Power Amp Bypass mode and a variable, hardware-switched High-Pass Filter (60Hz–200Hz). This lets you offload low-end excursion to an active subwoofer, making it the ultimate foundational block for high-resolution 2.0 or 2.1 acoustic systems.

The A20 offers two input modes: unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR, each selectable on the front panel. An additional +3 dB gain can be applied to the RCA input to optimise the level according to the source. Outputs include speaker terminals and a dedicated SUB OUT output for integrating an active subwoofer. The A20 also features a 12V trigger input for synchronising its power-up with the rest of your Hi-Fi system. Finally, a bypass mode allows the A20 to be used as a pure power amplifier, bypassing its internal volume control.

The A20 includes an adjustable high-pass filter, designed to relieve the main speakers of low frequencies and transfer this range to an active subwoofer. This internal management simplifies the setup of a 2.1 system without the need for an external filter or additional DSP.

In order to deliver the most faithful sound reproduction possible, the A20 uses renowned components such as Rubycon and WIMA capacitors, as well as LME49720 OPAs mounted on DIP8 to ensure interchangeability. The printed circuit board has a total of four layers, all of which are gold-plated. Finally, the aluminium chassis ensures excellent heat dissipation, contributing to the overall reliability of the amplifier.

Features
  • Texas Instruments TPA3255 Architecture: Utilizes the premium, high-efficiency Class D amplifier IC to deliver massive power with exceptionally low distortion and high thermal efficiency.
  • Advanced Post-Filter Feedback (PFFB): Loops feedback after the output filter to eliminate Class D speaker load-dependency, ensuring a ruler-flat frequency response across all speaker impedances.
  • True Fully Balanced Signal Path: Features dedicated XLR inputs alongside standard RCA inputs, maximizing common-mode noise rejection and cross-talk suppression for a completely black background.
  • High-Power Output: Delivers up to 300W per channel into 4Ω (when paired with a 48V/10A power supply), providing effortless dynamic headroom for demanding bookshelf and tower speakers.
  • Active 2.1 System Integration: Equipped with a dedicated subwoofer output and a hardware-switched, rear-adjustable High-Pass Filter (60Hz–200Hz) to offload low frequencies from your main monitors.
  • Pure Power Amp Bypass: Features a dedicated toggle switch that bypasses the front volume pot, turning the unit into a fixed-gain power amplifier for clean integration with external preamps or DACs.
  • Enthusiast-Grade Customisation: Built with swappable dual LME49720 op-amps for hardware sound-rolling, a +3dB input gain switch for source matching, and a 12V trigger input for automated system power synchronization.
