Yet when it comes to turning up the volume and rocking out, I did not feel it was lacking in any way in my regular UK-sized living room. Listen to Björk’s ‘Hunter’ from the album Homogenic [Elektra] with the volume up. Those low synth bass lines did not leave me craving a subwoofer!
