The NHT CS-12 is a 700W, long throw 12” behemoth housed in a 15.75” square cabinet. Controls are easy to use with analog inputs and XLR balanced, a crossover control which can be set to LFE, a volume trim control and a phase switch. The CS-12’s elegant piano black gloss finish and recessed grille matches perfectly with either NHT’s new Media or C series speakers. Bass response is rated at 20Hz in room.
NHT’s newest Subwoofer models are an extension of our 2010 move to 100% acoustic suspension designs that offer tighter, more musical bass reproduction regardless of placement. Each is designed with an efficient Class D amplifier providing ample power on demand that also runs cool with virtually no wasted energy.
Additionally, our new subwoofers employ a powerful DSP solution for crossover and equalization control as well as maintaining low distortion output by preventing signal overload. Each of the cabinets are made from .” MDF, and each panel is laminated internally with 1/8” aluminum sheets to make them ultra rigid.
